HRH Princess Máxima of the Netherlands opened the EMN Annual Conference in Amsterdam in her capacity of UN Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development. This year's key theme was Business Development Services with a special focus on South-North exchange. Complementing microfinance with sustainable non-financial services, but ..."Who pays the ferryman?", was the theme of an interactive North South debate. Date and location: 9-10 June, 2011, Beurs van Berlage (former Amsterdam Stock Exchange), Amsterdam.
