PROMIFIN, a programme funded by SDC/Swiss Cooperation in Central America and executed by Triodos Facet (project 3145) had the honor to be nominated as “Organization of the month” by the Portal de Microfinanzas (CGAP – INCAE), due to its active promotion of practical knowledge dissemination for the enhancement of financial services for low income populations.

PROMIFIN has worked in the past with over 100 finance institutions, and is actually working on promoting the Financial Education for low income populations, the improvement of Corporate Governance for the Microfinance Industry and the dissemination of standardized group lending methodologies for rural and poorest households.
