Southern Africa Media Development Foundation (Samdef) is a Botswana based non-profit fund providing loans and equity to TV, radio and newspaper media companies in Southern Africa. Triodos Facet was contracted for Capacity Building and Training. This included: Development of new Credit Manual and loan appraisal tools adapted to Samdef's new (downscaling) strategy; Training on how to work with the new manual and tools; and, Establishment of a loan workout and recovery plan.
