Triodos Facet supports MicroView flight from South Africa to The Netherlands providing contacts and knowledge on microfinance. MicroView is an enterprise of Thom de Wit & Merle Pijlman, consisting of a spectacular flight of 20.000 kilometer in two microlights.

The trip starts in South Africa and will end in The Netherlands. Thom and Merle will visit microfinance institutions (MFI’s) along the way. Flying, they can literally give their birdseye view on microcredit and focus on microcredit, because they strongly believe in the durable quality of microfinance. Because of microfinance, local economies can grow, while less people have to live in poverty.

By sharing views on microfinance with you, they hope you will agree on the positive effects of microfinance on economic growth and (financial) independence of individuals. Thom and Merle hope you want to support their Foundation and the MFI’s they are visiting along the way!
