Caritas Zambia aims to promote economic and social justice, human dignity and empowerment of the less privileged in society through conscientisation, advocacy, research, training and institutional strengthening. Among others, Caritas keeps a close eye on the country’s mining industry. Triodos Facet supported Caritas Zambia with identifying, formulating and designing a project to address the negative health, safety and environmental impact of the mining industry.
