SNV (Dutch development organisation) builds the capacity of local intermediary organisations that serve the entrepreneurial poor. Triodos Facet evaluated the efficiency, effectiveness and relevance of capacity building services undertaken in the 'Market access for the poor' (MAP) SNV programmes in East and Southern Africa. For practical reasons the scope of this evaluation is narrowed down to three countries, being Uganda, Tanzania and Zambia but includes an assessment of the implementation of a regional approach in Market Access for the Poor.
