SMARTRAC stands for Sustainability, Management, Accountability, Risk, Transparency, Assurance and Compliance. It is a capacity building programme designed for microfinance institutions (MFIs), particularly in Africa, that wish to improve their skills for managing and monitoring risks and sustainable performance. Triodos Facet supports MFIs in this programme.

In the EU/ACP Microfinance Framework Programme “Mainstreaming Risk Management and Transparency Reporting of Selected African MFIs“,Triodos International Fund Management (TIFM) and Triodos Facet enhance the risk management function and social performance reporting of less well established MFIs.
