Strategical Planning for the Easter Women’s Co-operative Movement MULOMA and identification of investment opportunities in the microfinance sector. Muloma is a rural women’s organisation in the Eastern province of Sierra Leone, in the district Small Bo Chiefdom. Since its inception Muloma has slowly transformed from an emergency aid organisation to a rural membership organisation assisting their members to develop economic activities. The organisation has growing potential to sustain their organisation financially in the longer run. The organisation has made impressive achievements and has come to the point that further profesionalisation is necessary in terms of the organisation, decentralization, involvement of the branches and development of financial and administrative capacity. The Dutch donor Cordaid contracted Triodos Facet to carry out an organisational and institutional review of the organisation in collaboration with Agriterra/Passage.
