With great pleasure we can announce that our Madrid office has opened in January 2009.

In 2008, Triodos Facet has initiated cordial and very fruitful talks with Triodos Bank España. These talks cumulated into the actual establishment of our new Triodos Facet office in Spain. We open the office in the splendid building of Triodos Bank España, located in Madrid.  

From the start of our talks, into the present, with the agreement between both parties, we have felt very welcome by Triodos Spain. Within their own building, they offer us a modern office space with all facilities, varying from the office space itself on the third floor, to general support, access to meeting rooms, the larger reception room for seminars (in the future), as well as parking space and state-of-the-art communication facilities.

Management responsibility remains fully with Triodos Facet in Bunnik, including all reporting lines. At the level of directors regular meetings are scheduled (and already) taking place.

In practical terms many activities are scheduled for the next few months, to make the new office fully operational. And to get the project pipeline filled, a network of contacts and linkages between universities, apex organisations, and other potential clients is to be laid out. A Spanish national is to be contracted to facilitate in this. We are also scheduling a series of seminars about current issues and contemporary themes within our field of work. And more is to follow.
