Marc de Klerk (1974) is an International Economist and Economic Geographer graduated at Utrecht University and specialized in international organizational theory and development.

His professional life was spent in The Netherlands, Honduras and in the Western Balkans. The largest part of his professional career was spent in Bosnia-Herzegovina as well as the other South East European countries.

Working as a freelance consultant and entrepreneur, Marc became an experienced small business and entrepreneurship development consultant as well as Business & Organization Development Services Consultant. The sectors of business development include renewable energy, food processing, IT, sustainable tourism and the cultural industry. Projects also included general organizational strategies such as human resources and organizational strategy development.

Since May 2009 Mr. de Klerk works at Triodos Facet's Sustainable Business Development unit.

Country experience: Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia (FYROM), Montenegro, Turkey, India, Vietnam, Honduras, Liberia, Ghana and the Netherlands.
