Mrs. Celine van Soest (1984) obtained her M.Sc in International Business and M.Sc in Public Policy and Human Development at the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands. Her master specialisations focussed on organisational processes and sustainable development. She has combined the two masters in a research on organisational learning processes in the Kenyan Microfinance sector. After her graduation she worked for two years as a consultant in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility and Management Systems.

In 2009 she started working for Triodos Facet where she was for two years responsible for the acquisition of new projects.

In the first half of 2011 she worked for six months as a Junior Advisor for Sager Ganza Microfinance in Kigali. Here she worked on improving the financial administration and reporting system, credit and savings processes and credit risk monitoring.

In August 2011 she returned to Triodos Facet to work as a consultant for the unit Diversified Financial Services.
