Mrs. Hedwig Siewertsen (1966) is Deputy Director of Triodos Facet (30 employees) and Head of the Diversified Financial Services unit (10 consultants).

She is an expert in Micro and Small enterprise (MSE) development. She gained extensive field experience in rural finance and micro banking in Madagascar and in business support services for small enterprises in Tanzania. Since 1998 she has carried out 50 missions in over 20 countries in Africa and 10 in (Central) Asia. Most assignments were carried out for micro and small enterprise development institutions (micro finance institutions or MSE development projects.) and paid for by donors and investors.

Her key areas of expertise include: Value chain finance: design and implementation of funds and financial products; Project cycle related assignments in the field of MSE development and finance; Impact assessments and meaningful result measurement; Practical empirical research on MSE related interventions and institutions.
