Mrs. Anne Marie van Swinderen (1966) has an educational background in Development Economics / International Economics. She has worked in the microfinance sector as well as entrepreneurship development in three continents since 1989.

In microfinance, her experience ranges from advising local partners how to set up a new microfinance programme up to organisational development of large formal Microfinance institutions. Assignments included design of Business Development Services to complement microfinance as well as Corporate Social Responsibility for microfinance; Market-Research, Savings and Credit Product Development, Institutional Design, Legal Framework for microfinance, Monitoring and Evaluation (design), Organisational Change, transition from NGO into microfinance institution as well as Research.

In La Paz, Bolivia, she has been Triodos Facet's Representative for Bolivia from 2006 -2010. Since September 2010, Mrs. van Swinderen lives in Santa Marta,  Colombia and is TF Representative Colombia.
