Klaas Molenaar (1949), (MA Management Science - Rotterdam University) is an enterprising consultant and trainer crossing borders in search for new ways to apply entrepreneurship and development concepts in society. More than 35 years of experience in SME programmes and organisations worldwide.

He is founder of Triodos Facet (1990) a triple bottom MSME consultancy and training company with special expertise in Entrepreneurship Development and financing in support of micro and small enterprises.

He is also founder and chairman of the SEON Foundation (formerly known as FACET Foundation), specialized in Business Creation and entrepreneurship for starting SMEs in the Netherlands. He conceptualised, founded and built up IntEnt Foundation, supporting migrant entrepreneurs setting up business across borders, linking Migration, Development and Entrepreneurship.

He is a specialist in entrepreneurship training and MSME financing (micro finance and guarantee funds).

Moreover Klaas holds the position of Professor on Microfinance and small enterprise development at University of Applied Science Inholland, and among other functions he is President of the European Microfinance Network (EMN), Member of the National Council for Microfinance in The Netherlands, and member of the Board of Directors of MISFA, Afghanistan.
